Gearing up for another wild one

The past two weeks have not disappointed. As expected, I have had plenty of high school sports to cover along with a handful of local community events and an assortment of features. I'll be taking the next couple days off to finish removing the few remaining items from my old apartment, and on Thursday I will jump right back into prep sports mania with the semi finals for Boy's basketball.

The first of these photos was taken at a district semi final between Columbia and Kuna High School. The second was taken at a Gem, Mineral and Fossil show this past weekend in Garden City, Idaho. Not much to get excited about but hey, it's something new right?

Thanks for taking the time to stop by!

Couple of new things to share

Well one of truly crazy times of the year is upon us. Yes my friends, that's right, the Winter Prep sports season is coming to a close, which can mean only one thing; Playoffs! (Jim Mora impersonation ensues) This week we have the conclusion of the Girl's state basketball championships followed next week by the state wrestling tourney and the week after with the Boy's basketball finals.

The one great thing about all of the madness that is state championship season is that once it is all said and done the best time of year will commence... That's right friends, baseball season! Fresh air, sunflower seeds and bad farmers tans. Nothing quite compares.

So here is a photo from the Girl's division 4A Idaho State semi-final game between Middleton and Skyview High.

I also put together a slideshow last week from my afternoon outing at the World Center for Birds of Prey in Boise. Check it out if you'd like

Not Really News, but I'll Count it...

Been busy lately, but if you were to ask me what I've been up to I'm not completely sure I could give you a very good answer. So here are a couple photos I took this morning after another couple inches fell on the west side of the Treasure Valley.
